What to Expect in an Intensive

An EMDR Intensive is a focused, personalized therapy experience designed to help you make meaningful progress in a shorter period of time than traditional weekly therapy sessions. Intensives provide dedicated space to address trauma, anxiety, distressing life experiences, negative beliefs, or other emotional challenges without the interruptions that can occur between weekly appointments.

Prior to, or in the beginning of your intensive, we'll spend time understanding your goals, history, and areas of focus so that your experience is tailored specifically to your needs. Throughout the intensive, you'll be guided through evidence-based EMDR therapy in a supportive, compassionate, and structured environment designed to promote healing and lasting change.

As part of the intensive process, you'll receive a personalized workbook created specifically for you. This workbook serves as a guide before, during, and after your intensive, helping you clarify goals, reflect on insights, strengthen coping skills, and integrate the work completed during our time together. Many clients find that having a customized resource enhances their experience and provides continued support as they move forward in their healing journey.

Whether you're seeking relief from trauma, anxiety, PTSD, or long-standing emotional patterns, an EMDR Intensive offers an opportunity to engage in deeper therapeutic work with the time, focus, and support needed to create meaningful transformation.
